F.A.M.E. Invites you!
The Fine Arts and Music Enhancers (F.A.M.E.) group invites all interested parents in the district to join us. F.A.M.E. helps the K-12 students in the district through a fruit, meat and cheese fundraiser,
serving at intermissions during musicals and plays, handing out roses to seniors at fine arts events, and assisting at solo contests, among other activities. With the fundraiser money, we purchase
special items requested by teachers in K-12 art and music, industrial arts and drama. The group recently reorganized into subcommittees of Art/Industrial Arts, Drama, Band and Choir/General Music.
This way, parents can join F.A.M.E., but focus on the areas in which their children are involved. Co-Chairs of the group are Kathi Huebner (khuebner@oldhaus.net,

Clear Creek Amana Community Chorus: We are always looking for singers, ages high school and above, as well as people interested in accompanying and directing! We meet on designated Sunday evenings. You are invited to join us. We are always looking for places to sing and have a variety of styles that we sing. If you have a place you might like for us to sing, please contact one of those listed below. We especially want to thank Nile Dusdieker for his help with direction and accompanying. Did you know?
F.A.M.E. has been in existence since 1989 and during that time we have
spent over $110,000 supporting the arts in the Clear Creek Amana School
District. Some of the items that we have provided to Speech & Drama,
6-12 are supplies, medals, muslin for backdrops, lights for the auditorium,
microphone cables for the auditorium, New York benefit tickets, permanent
dressing rooms for the auditorium, set for Oklahoma, set materials, speech
awards, stage extension, royalties, scripts, t-shirts, and supported hosting
of regional speech contest.
F.A.M.E. (Fine Arts and Music Enhancers):It is the goal of F.A.M.E. to provide enhancement to the arts that are offered in the Clear Creek Amana School District so that the students of Clear Creek Amana develop a lifelong appreciation of the arts. We support and encourage comprehensive enrichment for the students and staff in the arts district-wide. Our goal is to use our resources--time and money--to provide enhancement for the most students possible. We define the arts as including, but not limited to the following: art, k-12; vocal music, k-12; instrumental music, 5-12; technical arts, 6-12; drama and speech, 6-12.
