Basketball is open to any child Kindergarten through 6th grade. Our goals are to teach basic fundamentals and reinforce these fundamentals through games and have FUN.
January—March (practices in December)
Registration will take place on Monday, October 22 from 6:00-7:00pm at the CCA Middle School in Tiffin and at CCA Elementary in Oxford. Registration will also take place on October 23 from 6:00-7:00pm at North Bend Elementary in North Liberty and October 25 from 6:00-7:00pm at Amana Elementary in Amana. We are allowing parents to download the forms and mail them to me. If you cannot make it to the registration meetings and plan to mail the forms, they MUST be returned by 11/1/2012. We plan to have practices starting the first week in December and the games running from January 5th, 2013 until the season ending tournament March 9-10, 2013. AYSO REGION 1103 SOCCER

AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) Region 1103 Soccer is open to any child ages 4 years old as of January 31st to 15 years. Registration fee is $65.00 which includes 6 games in the fall, 6 games in the spring as well as uniform (jersey, shorts, socks) and supplemental insurance. Game locations include Amana, Ladora, and Brooklyn. The program currently serves Amana, Oxford, Williamsburg, Marengo, Belle Plaine, Ladora, Victor, Brooklyn, and surrounding areas. AYSO registration is open year round, and the program has approximately 350 players; 75 volunteers. The AYA Volleyball Clinic will be held in August and September this year. A four week clinic similar to previous years’ clinics will be offered in August for students starting 4th through 6th grade. After these four weeks, participants will have the option to continue through September by playing in games against teams from other schools at the Williamsburg Recreational Center on Sundays in September.
Complete details will be available this summer. Because the clinic will start before school does, we are gathering contact information for interested students so that we can send registration information out this summer. We are now accepting Flag Football registrations for the 2013 season. It will be open for any child Kindergarten thru 4th grade )or 5th grade if not in tackle football.) All games will be on Sundays in Tiffin at the soccer fields. There will be a coaches meeting sometime in July before the season starts. We had a very successful year last year and look forward to another year! We will be teaching the fundamentals of football to the children in a positive and supportive way.

The Clear Creek Amana Youth Football Program is holding registrations for incoming 5th and 6th grade students for the 2013 - 2014 school year on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 6:30 p. m. - 8:00 p. m. in the Clear Creek Amana Middle School Multi-purpose room. All students and parents interested should come to the meeting to find out more about the program. Fundamentals of football will be taught. This is full contact with pads and helmets. All equipment will be furnished except shoes. Cost for the program is $90.00, which will include a jamboree, practices (practices start mid-August and last until the final game in October - there will be four practices the first couple of weeks and three practices thereafter until the season is completed), six games on Sundays - starting in mid-September and running through October. Registrations forms will be available that night and your student will be weighed and measured for uniforms after the informational meeting. It is not too late to sign up for the Clear Creek Amana Youth Football program. This program is available to students that will be in 5th or 6th grade in the Fall of 2013. This program stresses the fundamentals of football. If you missed the sign-up in March, e-mail your name and address to: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will mail you an application. Forms are not available on the website. Cost is $90.00 before May 10th. After May 10th, the cost will be $100.00. Chin straps are available for an additional $10.00, but are not required. Games are on Sundays, starting at 1:00 p.m., starting on September 8th and run to October 13th. Practices will start the week of August 12th. There will be four practices a week until school starts, once school starts, there will be three practices - dates and times to be determined. BEGINNING SUNDAY JUNE 9th @ 3:00-4:30, WE WILL START YOUTH GOLF LESSONS @ AMANA COLONIES GOLF COURSE FOR ALL YOUTHS WHO CAN HOLD A CLUB AND ARE INTERESTED IN LEARNING THE GAME OF GOLF.
THE GOAL OF THIS PROGRAM IS TO INTRODUCE YOUNG ADULTS TO THE GAME OF GOLF AND GIVE EACH CHILD A FOUNDATION IN BASIC SKILLS AND THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE GAME.
WE WILL INSTRUCT THE PLAYER USING THE G.P.S. METHOD.

- POSTURE-HOW TO CORRECTLY STAND AND POSITION YOUR BODY
- SWING-HOW TO SWING THE CLUB IN A FLOWING MOTION.
THE FEE FOR ALL LESSONS ARE FREE, INCLUDING THE USE OF THE RANGE AND BALLS ON LESSON DAYS.
