The Clear Creek Amana Community School District will begin the process of registering
preschool students on February 28, 2013 for the 2013 - 2014 school year.
It is our intention to provide Pre-K preschool services at the Amana Elementary, Clear
Creek (Oxford) Elementary and North Bend (North Liberty) Elementary Attendance Centers.
Pre-K students must be 4 years old by September 15, 2013. Due to state funding the Clear
Creek Amana School District provides 15 hours of educational services per week free of
charge to all Pre-K students.
All applications will be considered complete when the Preschool Enrollment Application
form and the $100 application fee are turned into the office of the attendance center you
would like your child to attend. The form can be found on-line at www.cca.k12.ia.us under
the Parent tab or at any of the elementary attendance center offices.
Due to class size restrictions, enrollment to the preschool program will be granted in the
order in which the students were registered.
No applications will be accepted prior to 8:00 AM, Thursday, February 28, 2013.
There are three attendance options available for Pre-K Students:
Full time Pre-K Preschool Student – Preschool and child care provided from 6:30 AM –
5:30 PM. This option is not available at the North Bend Elementary Attendance Center. Full
time Pre K preschool tuition will be 10 equal payments $485.00 for a total of $4850.00 per
year (academic school year). Breakfast, AM Snack, Lunch and PM Snack included.
School Day Pre-K Preschool Student – Preschool and child care provided 7:45 AM –
3:15 PM. School Day Pre-K preschool tuition will be 10 equal payments of $222.00 for a
total of $2220.00 per year (academic year) AM Snack and Lunch included.
Voluntary Pre-K Preschool Student – Preschool only 8:00 – 11:00 AM. No Charge. AM
Snack included.
A copy of the child care financial policy will be provided upon enrollment in the CCA Child
Care Program.
Children who have reached their 5th birthday by September 15, 2013 and are not enrolled
in Kindergarten may enroll in Pre-K Preschool classes but parents will pay the regular
preschool tuition rate of 10 payments of $610.00 or a total of $6100.00.
The Amana Elementary will also provide preschool services to children who have reached
their 2nd birthday and who are not four years old by September 15, 2013. Tuition for the 2/3
year old preschool class will be 10 equal payments of $610.00 for a total of $6100.00 for full
time students.
